Letters to The Rival

Have your voice heard

We call ourselves “the student voice.” In a letter to the student body that we published in November, we as a staff committed to ensuring that The Rival at Duke is representative of all of Duke’s students and of all experiences and perspectives that they bring. In that letter we committed to making sure that the voices of students at this school are heard.

If you would like to respond to something we write or respond to something happening on this campus, we want to hear your well-argued opinions and thoughtful reflections.

Letters should: (1) be no more than 300 words, and (2) include the writer’s name. We reserve the right to withhold or to edit your response in order to help it shine as best it can.

To send a letter to The Rival at Duke submit your piece to this email: duke@readtherival.com

Much love,
